Usi comuni (via Jojoba Italia):
Do you remember I told you eh I have a combination skin? Well, I use jojoba oil as a moisturizer.
Jojoba oil is a pure cosmetic for excellence. Odorless, heat stable is actually a liquid wax. Used by American Indians before the arrival of the "civilization" is still used for skin care.
Jojoba oil has in its composition of natural antioxidants: tocopherols. It is also an anti-inflammatory, emollient and stimulates circulation. It is rich in vitamin E, natural substances, healing and nourishing. In most protects of UV rays. Does not ensure protection for the most delicate hair, but it can be enough for those a little more olivastre.
Common uses (via Jojoba Italia) :
ANTIWRINKLES: Due to the high penetrating power, with constant use, you can get the smoothing out wrinkles on the face and neck and their subsequent attenuation.
DRY, CRACKED SKIN: the hydrating and softening jojoba oil fights flaking of the skin, especially during the winter months. In the summer months must be applied before and after exposure to the sun. Very good before the application of makeup.
OILY SKIN OR ACNE: cleans the pores and helps the regulation of sebaceous gland function.
TANNING: Apply the oil before and after exposure to the sun, protect your skin from burns and redness and give a uniform color tan. Warning jojoba oil does not replace the suntan lotion for protection. It is also recommended as soothing in case of sunburn.
Tips to apply the oil on your face:
In application of moisturizer is important that the massage should always follow the direction of the muscles. Distribute the oil with the fingertips, from the inside outwards and from the bottom upwards. It starts from the front, with a movement that goes from the eyebrows to the hairline. The second phase involves the eye that provides patters of light from the upper and lower lid towards the nose. Then it's the cheeks that are massaged from the corners of the mouth up to the cheekbones. Never neglect chin and neck, massage from inside to outside, from the bottom upwards.

Pulire, Tonificare, Idratare III {Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize III}
E dopo che ci siamo struccate... Ci tonifichiamo!!
Come farlo:
And after we had remove our make up ... We tone up!
What is a Facial Tonic? Tell you that the tonic is a very important step that we must not forget or neglect. The tonic improves the structure, irrigation increases bleeding that causes the regeneration of tissues, brings light and refreshes our face, not only closes the pores and ends to remove any dirt or impurity rest of the make-up remover has not eliminated altogether, but also prepares the skin to receive the moisturizer or nourishing.
Today I give you the recipe for a tonic to the basil. It is a tonic astringent, thus suitable for combination and oily skin (dry skin abstain).
Basil facial tonic:
What you need:
- Fresh basil. That you have in the pot to cook just fine.
- Distilled water
- Alcohol (I used alcohol 96 °, what used to disinfect wounds)
How to do it:
In a saucepan put the cold distilled water and 2/3 tablespoons fresh basil leaves. Let them boiled for a few minutes and let steep for 30 minutes.
Add the alcohol, no more than 10% to not dry out a lot the skin. The alcohol is used to preserve the tonic.
Wait until cool and ready for use.
Property:
Basil has soothing, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and healing properties.

Pulire, Tonificare, Idratare II {Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize II}
Struccante occhi bi-fase:
Di cosa avete bisogno:
- Camomilla per infusione, potete usare quella sfusa o quella in bustine. Vi consiglio quella biologica già che ci siete.
- Olio di oliva extravergine
Come farlo:

As you know, the skin around the eyes is the most delicate, is thin and flexible and needs special care. Also for make-up remove, because there is no question that you have to remove your make-up, right?. From all the products tested since I started to wear makeup (so far back in time) the ones I prefer are called bi-phase, ones that when you leave them rest you can see easily two different layers, a bit like when you put vinegar and oil together, and that for precisely almost always one of the two components is oily.
The make-up remover for eyes that I propose is the home version of the bi-phase makeup remover but knowing all the time what it is that you are using, in addition to the cost which is not something to be underestimated.
Eye makeup remover bi-phase:
What you need:
- Chamomile infusion, you can use that bulk or that in bags. I suggest the organic one .
- Extra virgin olive oil
How to do it:
Put the chamomile in hot water and let it rest in infusion for 20/30 minutes. Strain it and add the oil in proportion 2 parts of chamomile 1 part of oil.
Wait for it to cool, and voilà, makeup remover ready.
You have to shake well before use, and if you keep it in a dark place it keeps well for up to 1 month.
Property:
Olive oil is nourishing and moisturizing and gentle on our skin
Chamomile has soothing and calming.
A tip, leave for a moment the oil by placing the cotton swab with remover on the lid closed, so the mascara softens and is much easier to remove.

Pulire, Tonificare, Idratare {Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize}
Come farlo:
The summer it's over, we sunbathed, we tanned, and we punished our skin a lot. Now is the time to cuddle it.
I'm not an expert, but you are one that always has been concerned from the skin of the face, maybe due to I'm fair-skinned and I have sensitive and combination skin. It 's true that genetics for once helped me, and as my mom, I have a few wrinkles and healthy skin, but I also want it to continue that way.
Having sensitive skin does not help if you have a skin tending to oily, anything that is good for one does not improve the other, so it's always a fight for understand what you can or can not use. As everybody with me worked fine the system test - error / test - success.
So, we all know that you should clean - tone - moisturize every night and every morning (!!). That you have to exfoliate the skin of dead skin cells once a week. We also know that creams & co. have a cost, and we also know that natural is better. So what? Why do not we make them at home? Really, it's not complicated. Of course, they are more delicate so it is best not to make large quantities, and it is best to keep them in the fridge, but otherwise it's a bit like making a cake or a pudding ^ __ ^
So, we start from step one: Clean.
Facial cleanser for all skin types:
What you need:
1 ripe tomato pulp (peeled and seeded)
30 ml. milk
15 ml. orange juice
15 ml. lemon juice
Robot kitchen or minipimmer
How to do it:
Put all the ingredients in a food processor and whizz it until it becomes a smooth watery substance
You can keep this refrigerated for a few days
Property:
Tomato is a real cure for the skin: protects it from damage caused by ultraviolet rays and, being rich in lycopene, fights free radicals delaying the appearance of signs of skin aging (tone relaxed, loose skin, wrinkles).
Milk is considered a great help to counteract dryness and dry skin since ancient times
Orange is an excellent source of vitamin C, essential for the skin and also fights free radicals.
Lemon is great to regenerate cells and tone the skin, thanks to its high content of vitamin A.
Easy, fast and natural. What more could we want?
Note: it clear that even if the ingredients are natural does not mean that they are anti-allergic, so I recommend that before to use it all over your face you try in a small area (usually the inside of the wrist is the best one) to prove that you are allergic to any ingredient.
Normally used for the storage of colored glass jars, such as those of fruit juices

La Forza della Natura {The Power Of Nature}

Today is our day!
Between creams and weights to keep fit have fun together. The methods are always the same: tradition and innovation in an effective mix and homemade.
Nicola will take care about fitness, who with his functional training will try make us appreciate some effort. Starting point: fit everything we have on hand at home (but not only) to train. End point: understand that a constant workout accompanied by good nutrition make a difference.
I will see the Beauty, with homemade beauty recipes. Eggs, lemon, olive oil? No, we are not to make an omelette, but we are in the kitchen, with natural ingredients, clay and essential oils would do the "creams" as my grandmother called them. What to say about her? She was a woman who boasted that he never washed her face with soap and water, but only with rose water... What about me? Someone say I look like her.
