Stile Nordico - {Nordic Style}

Penso di averlo detto da qualche parte ma io non sono amante degli spazi minimalisti, cioè si ma vissuti. Non prediligo gli spazi bianchi eccetto quando quel bianco mi da sensazione di caldo e comfort, e per queste cose cose i nordici sono dei maestri.

Pareti, soffitti e pavimenti bianchi, grandi finestre per lasciare entrare la luce saggiamente arredati con mobili in legno, imbotti di colori neutri e cuscini e tappetti colorati. Una buona illuminazione diretta e indiretta e l'uso delle candele fanno il resto. 

Quando pensiamo a disegno scandinavo la prima cosa che ci viene in mente è Ikea. Se pensiamo ai tessuti pensiamo a Marimekko. Io però vi consiglio di farvi un giro per Iittala dove troverete i vasi dell'architetto Alvar Aalto. Per Carl Hansen & Son dove trovare la sedia CH24, che io adoro, ma non solo. Anche Muuto, Louis Poulsen o &Tradition Copenhagen vi faranno capire che il design scandinavo non è cosa di adesso, non è una moda, è proprio una forma di vivere. E che vivere!!!

I think I said somewhere but I'm not a lover of minimalist spaces, that is, but lived. I prefer not whitespace except when the white gives me warm feeling and comfort, and these things are the Nordic masters.

Walls, ceilings and white floors, large windows to let in the light wisely furnished with wooden furniture, neutral colors and padded cushions and colorful rugs. A good direct and indirect lighting and the use of candles do the rest.

When we think of Scandinavian design, the first thing that comes to mind is Ikea. If we think in fabrics we think of Marimekko. But I advise you to make a trip for Iittala where you will find the jars from the architect Alvar Aalto. Carl Hansen & Son where to find the CH24 chair, which I love, but not only. Even Muuto, Louis Poulsen or &Tradition Copenhagen will make you understand that Scandinavian design is not what it is now, is not a fad, it's a way of life. And what a life!

La Poltrona {The Armchair}

A casa dei miei c'era un posto per ogni uno nel divano, e poi c'era lei, la poltrona di papa.

Ce ne stata sempre una. Da piccola c'era la bellissima Ribbon Chair di Pierre Paulin per Artifort, più una scultura che una poltrona. Anche se il suo aspetto non è invitante posso assicurarvi che è comoda, forse non serve per fare il pisolino perché non si può appoggiare la testa, ma a volte è necessario sacrificare qualcosa...

Poi è arrivato il momento della Gilda di Carlo Mollino prodotta da Zanotta, anche lei una scultura, più calda dovuto al legno, e decisamente più comoda per il pisolino '_^

Di poltrone nella mia wish-list ce ne sono tante, vi potrei fare la mia top 9: la stessa Ribbon Chair e la Gilda, per motivi anche sentimentali. La bellissima Vanity Fair di Poltrona Frau, senza dimenticare la mitica Egg di Arne Jacobsen per Fritz Hansen, o la graziossissima Up5 di Gaetano Pesce per B&B Italia, la classicissima Lounge Chair di Charles & Ray Eames per Vitra e la non meno bella Louisiana di Vico Magistreti per DePadova. La ironica Joe di De Pas, d'Urbino e Lomazzi per Poltronova e last but not least la copiatissima armchair 402 di Alvar Aalto per Artek.

At my parents' house was a place for every one on the couch, and then there was her, dad's armchair.

There was always one. As a child, there was the beautiful Ribbon Chair by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, more a sculpture than a armchair. Although its appearance is not inviting I can assure you that is comfortable, maybe you do not need to take a nap because you can not lay your head, but sometimes you have to sacrifice something ...

Then came the moment of the Gilda of Carlo Mollino produced by Zanotta, also a sculpture, warmer due to the wood, and much more comfortable for napping '_ ^

Of seats in my wish-list there are so many, I could make my top 9: the same Ribbon Chair and the Gilda, for reasons as well sentimental. The beautiful Vanity Fair from Poltrona Frau, without forgetting the legendary Egg by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, or the pretty Up5 by Gaetano Pesce for B & B Italy, the classic Lounge Chair by Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra and the no less beautiful Louisiana by Vico Magistreti for DePadova. The ironic Joe by De Pas, d'Urbino and Lomazzi for Poltronova and last but not least the super copied armchair 402 by Alvar Aalto for Artek.

{Wanders Mon Amour}

E' arrivato quel giorno. Quello nel che io vi parlo della mia passione per il design presentandovi i designers che mi hanno colpito di più.

E non potevo iniziare da un'altro. Io adoro il design di questo genio chiamato Marcel Wanders. Olandese, 49 anni, laureato "cum laude" nel  Institute of the Arts Arnhem. Si potrebbe pensare che gli olandesi sono freddi a sentirli parlare e invece... Lui ha quello che un mio ex-capo chiamava "la mano felice" ovvero, riesce a disegnare sempre cose nuove facendo l'occhiolino all'antico senza perdere mai la sua personalità.

Riconosco che un "tutto" Wanders può risultare un po' troppo, i suoi interni a volte sono carichi fino al limite, ma le sue carte da parati sono però così belle che le metterei in ogni una delle stanze di casa mia, forse su una sola parete ^__^

Io lo considero un designer a 360°, disegna mobili. ceramiche, piatti e posate, gioielli, interiori, qualsiasi cosa!! Vi lascio una mostra dei suoi prodotti, così per aprirvi un mondo senza fine...

Arrived that day. The one in which I talk about my passion for design by introducing the designers that have impressed me the most.

And I could not start from another. I love the design of this genius named Marcel Wanders. Dutch, 49 years old, graduated "cum laude" in Institute of the Arts Arnhem. You might think that the Dutch are cool to hear them talk but ... He has what one of my ex-boss called "the happy hand" that is, able to draw new things winking to the ancient without ever losing his personality.

I recognize that a "whole" Wanders can be a bit 'too much, his interiors are sometimes loads up to the limit, but his wallpaper however are so beautiful that I would put in each one of the rooms of my home perhaps on a single wall ^ __ ^

I consider him a 360 ° designer, designing furniture. ceramics, plates and cutlery, jewelery, interiors, anything! I leave some photos of its products, so open yourself to a world without end ...
